Looking for an Application Designer to design, develop and improve responsive web applications and interactive digital interfaces.
You will work with technical and operational teams to create user-friendly application designs, integrate systems and ensure applications meet performance, accessibility and compatibility standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop web applications and interactive user interfaces.
Translate business and user requirements into effective application designs.
Create wireframes, prototypes and reusable interface components.
Integrate applications with databases, APIs and other business systems.
Review and improve application structure, usability and accessibility.
Ensure compatibility across browsers, devices and screen sizes.
Optimise application performance, scalability and reliability.
Collaborate with developers, stakeholders and operational teams.
Maintain application-design standards and technical documentation.
Test designs and incorporate user and stakeholder feedback.
Requirements
Experience in application, web, UI or UX design.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern web technologies.
Experience with responsive design, prototyping and design tools.
Understanding of APIs, databases and application integration.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
